It’s always hard to say goodbye, but the Screamzone is taking a break for the 2021 season. A lot has changed since we first opened our gates back in 1999 and it feels like the perfect time to take some time off before we come back stronger than ever! We want you all to know that this rest is temporary, so make sure you save your date for September 2020 when The Scream Zone will be reopening its doors with an even scarier experience.

The Scream Zone, San Diego’s favorite fright fest, will be resting in its crypt for the 2021 season. This does not mean that you should worry about missing out on all the horror and thrills this year. The Scream Zone has been open every Halloween night since 1986!

In 2020, the Scream Zone will be celebrating its 30th year of terrorizing San Diego. In order to make this next season a special one, we’ve decided to rest in our crypt for 2021. But don’t worry – we have some surprises up our sleeve that you won’t want to miss! Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
